    im depressed about whats happening with me and my boyfriend its like im screwball and hes mothball two different creatchers and one is not allowed to date the other because hes afraid of what his parents will say

    i was feeling perfectly fine before and thing a couple of months later i started feeling sad & crappy , i go to talk to someone because of my ptsd . and i stay up at night & cry cant sleep & wanting it just go away feels like it gets worse every day . i cant breathe at night i have hrd time with most things i feel like nothings real it goes away an comes back i jst really want this bad feeling to goo away ..

    the end of school is coming up, my teacher said we could sit to who ever we want to because we are asighned seats and usally we could choose are seats because we are in junior high. So i chose my four best friends, two of them are unstobable talkers.during math class, they were making funny noises and talking about innappropriate things and saying bad words, and i was trying not to laugh and just listening to the teacher.And when the teacher was passing out our papers, she yells at me saying, " your table is the most talkative table, you are moving seats with a bunch of boys and someone else will be moving too! " And what did i do, i did nothing. Any tips???

    I agree with the getting out of the head and having to discharge with your body. This is totally what brought me to respect the body-mind balance. The tips you gave here with regard to anger and tears is exactly the same what helped me.

    A other technique you can do without the body is a 2×2 grid, what I can do, what I can't do, what I can't control, what I can control. I think I need to do this grid myself more often than I have done in the past.

    I think sometimes it also depends on your environment. People can develop OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder) or feelings of having to be perfect (perfectionism) after having received some harsh criticism. This makes people anxious and afraid of not being ''good enough'' in the future.

    The walking tip is also mentioned in this book: Self Help for Your Nerves by Dr. Claire Weekes. It says that this is advocated if you worry too much.

    Great message, Christian, right to the point! For me, riding bike for long distances in nature during spring and summer months was what helped me to get out of depression (at that time I didn't know that I had to focus on my body, but that was what had helped me tremendously; it was sort of distraction by seeing all the nature around me and moving constantly my body). That was your first tip. The second tip appears to be where I am right now. Thanks!
