I quit smoking cigarettes 3 days ago and started vaping. However, the juice I use still has nicotine in it. Do you recommend me using non nicotine? Plus I am having some problems inhaling- although I seem to be getting better at this. It's just really strange. Sometimes the liquid leaks- what is that about? Thanks :0)

What the fuck are you talking about? YOU DID NOT QUIT SMOKING, in the ''honour'' for those who really quit, please, stop this big bs, you still put nicotine in your body, same shit as smoking, you just replaced one thing with the other, but it's the same thing, you're still addicted to a drug, please, quit, then say'' I QUIT SMOKING'', IT IS THE NICOTINE THAT KEEPS US HOOKED, NOT SMOKING..you still carry nicotine with you, you are weak my friend, i'm srry to say this, but you can't say you quit smoking.

I've been quit for a little over a month (using vaping as well), and I just noticed the other day the smell of my nails. You know that smell on your fingernails after a cigarette? I actually always liked that smell, but the other day I realized my nails (weirdly) smell like clean clothes instead! Lol. Which I MUCH prefer. 🙂 I've also noticed that my acne has actually cleared up a lot on my face, and after going to the dentist and getting my teeth cleaned the staining is already going away. I was also really surprised that vaping worked for me. I knew it would satisfy the nicotine cravings, but I didn't think it would satisfy the feeling of the smoke in my throat the same way, which I think is why patches never worked for me. I much prefer it now and I haven't had a single cigarette since starting, and I've even gone down from 18mg of nicotine to 3! Hoping to get down to 0 by the end of the year. 🙂
Downside however, would be my singing voice. Weirdly enough I could sing beautifully when I was smoking but now it's like I have to re-learn my voice. Still practicing with it though and hoping it will go back to normal.

Abby, I MUST stop smoking. I have Asthma since I was 3 and severe allergies to almost all breathable stuff especially cats and dogs. I bought my first atomizer today. I smoke about 7-9 cigs a day so I am not too bad. Here is my question, when I smoke a cig I am done for the next 2 hours when I finish the cigarette, but with vapor when do I stop? The stuff smells and tastes good I don't know when I am done and had my fill of the nicotine. Any ideas? One thing I did notice is I can get a buzz of the vapor faster than a cigarette.

Biggest surprise —– That the switch over to vaping was not very painful at all. The first 24 hours was a kick to the face but after the initial phase of removing the non-nicotine addictive toxins from my system it was breeze. 10 days in and I am hitting the vaporizer pretty hard but I have no desire to go out and get cigarettes. I wouldn't be surprised if vaping surpasses cigarette smoking in popularity in 10-20 years. We would all be the better for it.

Been watching some of your videos, just subscribed, your from South Florida! Very cool, I'm in Pinellas County. this list was VERY true for me as well. especially didn't think I develop such a infatuation with it. I have completely quit smoking for about a month-and-a-half now, since I got my Target 75w. my boyfriend introduced me to unicorn milk by cuttwood on his KangerTech, and I fell in live with it! But didn't completely quit smoking till recently. currently I am vaping on Summer Lovin' by vaporfi 6% nicotine level around 33-35watts. I do still crave a little bit of a stronger throat hit my next liquid will be a higher VG level…? Right? Lol anyways I'm not a big comment person but I'm enjoying your videos and saw you were from Florida and wanted to say "hello!"

I have a really big problem and was hoping to find the answer here, but basically, I was a smoker for 20 years, only quit cold turkey when I found out I was pregnant with my first child and started back after I quit breastfeeding him because I went to a holiday party and smoked 1 just for the heck of it, then of course started back to a pack a day within a week! I tried the gum and the patch, but vaping is the only method that has helped me stop completely without going crazy or turning into the meanest woman on the planet. I have not smoked a cigarette in 3 weeks, feel great, started eating clean about 6 months ago (mostly protien like meat, fish, kale, spinach, veggies, and some fruit, olive oil, etc…-no chips, candy, or starachy stuff at all), started strength training about 10 days ago, drinking at least 70 oz of water daily, taking 2 "Alive" multivitamins daily, 2 fish oil vitamins daily, vitamin E oil on my face, neck, and chest every night and morning, I drink 2 whey protien shakes each day which are loaded with amino acids and healthy, and using organic oatmeal soap when I shower. I don't understand why the skin on my face is getting severly dry???! Looks to me like "new" wrinkles are forming on my cheeks which are extremely super dry, my checks are itchy, I have little bumps that almost look like misquito bites too. I don't really have any zits, just bumps. It's getting worse each day. I would think that the thousands of chemicals from the cigarettes would be pretty much out of my system after 3 weeks or at least my skin would be getting better. I even started taking 6000-9000mg of collagen and 280mg of hyaluronic acid for my skin daily in the last 5 days. Has anyone else expierenced this dryness? I also cut back on my drinking from 4-5 beers a day (I know, my life is pretty stressful most days) and 2 vodkas/natural seltzer in the evening to only consuming 3-5 beers each entire week (if that) and keeping my 2 vodkas/seltzer each night. So I was drinking an average of 45 or more a week and am down to about 18 or less alcoholic beverages a week. Everything else is good. My breathing is great, no more coughing, energy is back, everything tastes/smells better, I don't get winded, my voice is coming back and not so raspy, so I don't understand why my skin is getting so dry and looking worse than it ever has in my life.

Abby, I love your videos and I have learned a lot from your videos. But I have a question and I'm very concerned. I vape and have been for 4 months and 1 month cigarette-free. I'm currently running a cuboid 200w with alliance v2+ rda with a dual 24g kanthal parallel at 0.20 ohm. Juice is Ruckus Gorilla guts 70/30(lol sorry just throwing that in there) but my question is that I've noticed that when I blow vapor out through my nose, it condensates and gets real runny, and if it's causing condensation in my nostrils then surely it's condensating my lungs, correct? I love vaping and it's no longer a crutch to quit smoking it's a hobby and I really enjoy it I'm just really concerned about it putting condensation in my lungs. Can I please get your thoughts and input on this? And everyone else who wants to share their input? Thanks a lot keep vaping

To-Vape has changed the way someone quits smoking…but approaching the lifestyle around Vape-Socializing you can see the pattern of abusive recreational-drugs, and thus, you realize Vapeing or vaporizing medication has been around to long already not to avoid some dangers and some-extreme-dangers. So balancing a moral compass can be life threatening much like cancer and addiction or transmitted diseases; however, getting forreals is still important in order to have a stable environment instead of micromanaged-crime, to where as, crime itself is tolerated or allowed. Like no-crime is better, as the same goes as, no-smog is best. #endtheFEDS #ClimateChange

hey abby, 1 thing that i really didnt expected when i quit smoking is, i was spend a lot of money on e-juice instead of when i was smoking coz price of e-juice is way more expansive than a normal branded ciggarettes. Hope u know what i'm sayin n sorry for my bad english n grammar. Greetings from Malaysian Vaper.

There's only one thing I didn't expect. I have allergies and usually get a bad reaction from pollen, mold, rag weed, and animal dander. After about a year of vaping, the reaction has been reduced to almost nothing.

  17. warren goldstein

Didn't expect id spend so bloody much on vape related paraphernalia!
It can save u money, sure; IF you stick with just one mod, one tank and cheap juice. But who really does that?? No One I know, including me :/

  18. Shelby Watts

I was never an addicted smoker, just a stress and social smoker due to social anxiety. But my fiancé got me into vaping and it really has reduced my stress and anxiety. I only use 2 or 3mg of nicotine but it really does help. I had really weak lungs due to having chronic bronchitis and vaping seems to have cleared up my lungs and I'm finally able to take deep breaths for the first time in 5 years.

Yeah i didn't expect it would have such a big impact on my life, like 4 month ago i switched from smoking 1-1.5 packs a day to a mvp starter kit and today i got my first rda, rta and ipv3, i also didn't expect to spent more money on it than smoking at least in these few first month

Just to make something clear. Vaping using the liquids is NOT 100% safe. The main ingredients are Propylene Glycol and Glycerine, which are commonplace chemicals that are inert in liquid form. But upon being heated, a chemical reaction occurs which produces small quantities of Formaldehyde. My statement can be verified by doing a web search: recent research has been done which proves this to be the case.

I use a vaporiser myself & feel genuinely healthier, my breathing, teeth and skin are better, so I'm not knocking it as a MUCH BETTER alternative, which produces only one potentially harmful chemical instead of 100s. But I felt that your viewers should be informed that the notion of vaping being totally risk-free is a myth.

  22. Remle Anall

Vaping helped me quit smoking. Although I already stopped vaping and am 100% clean, it is a completely viable method for quitting that smoking habit.

Already 2 years not smoking and I:
    1. I can taste food better (taste buds recovered?)
    2. I can finally jog 10km
    3. Haggard/Dry face is already gone (smoking 1 pack a day really damages your skin)
    4. I smell better (yey! no more "God, dude you effing smell")
    5. I'm not a health hazard to anyone!

  23. FortNikitaBullion

I've never smoked, but when I was 16 years old, I overhauled my diet significantly.  I found that it helps to never think of it as giving up something.  Think of it as gaining new habits and new experiences and freedom from the addictions.

I just bought my first starter kit and I was wondering …when you say quit smoking to vaping, do you use the nicotine free juices or just talking about the switch of methods. I see this on on a lot of forums but have never asked.
