You favor The rapper Kevin Gates wife Dreka… Beautiful locs.. I have a hair stylist that's great with natural hair and I let her trim me every 6-8 weeks but it's something in me that's still always scared it'll be to much. So hopefully you'll find that stylist that you can trust as well. Blessings Queen,.

Girl I would have had a charge with that stylist cutting my hair lol but it's true it's hair, it'll grow back. My hair isn't your length (I'm bra strap right now) and when I go in for a trim my stylist literally shows me every piece she's cutting as I watch in the mirror lol. She knows I'm not into trimming a lot off and I had to build trust with her. Been with her for 2.5 years now. She took me from back of the neck length hair to bra strap length hair all by herself bc I didn't do my hair until 3 months ago and it grew like an inch within that time

Hey Chea, I'm just wondering… After this salon experience do you plan on learning how to cut your own hair or are you going to search for another stylist when it's to get your hair trimmed?

Really glad I watched this video! My twin and I are mixed black and white and your hair type is the first I've found to be closest to ours. We had our hair curly until 3rd grade when we got our first relaxer (UGH). Our hair was around waist length back then. Only relaxed it a couple more times, than just resorted to straightening it every single day. We both did sports too so our story is similar to yours with washing and redoing it everyday. I got my hair cut shoulder length at some point and it barely grew (kept breaking) all 4 years through high school, but unfortunately I was very ignorant to the curly hair ways back then and just thought my hair was incapable of growing. Decided I need to embrace what was given to me and have started curly hair routines, and just working on getting it healthy so I can actually see and retain growth!

I have curly/ wavy hair when wet, but once it dries after a wash it turns to a dry afro. Can you make a wash and go tutorial? Or give me tips on how to keep my hair curly? Thanks in advance

Omg exactly my hair story! I started straightening the crap out of my hair, my hair few years later brake off and It looks like layer but my hair was one length! I chopped it all of after 8 years of straightening it, i don't flat iron my hair anymore (its wave/curly) and its 4 times ticker than before, very blunt and one length & very very extremely thick ends ❤️

Both me and my sister have exactly the same problem and now both of us have very thick hair, both gain 6 inches in one year and both cut it every single month (1/8 or 1/4 of an inch)

I'm mad that the hairdresser cut a lot of your hair off.  That's why it's best to learn how to do it yourself.  Girl, invest some time into learning how to do it yourself.  Check out other clips on youtube.  I've seen them.  I know how you feel about the big chop.  I feel bad for you:-(

That sucks that your hair was over cut. I would've punched her in the face lol jealous I bet.

Your hair is gorgeous at any length. I'm growing mine out too. I cut 6 inches in Jan… My own fault but I don't feel as bad since I did it myself

Thank you for putting together this video. It is extremely helpful. If you are able, I would love to see a video about the LOC method you described. Also, a video on your preferred products would be fantastic.

Love the video, this is the type of content I love watching. Plain background, no music to distract from your message. Very professional. I also love the reason for starting your chanel. Public speaking can be a tuff one. Only feedback would be the overuse of the "um" naturally we do that a lot. Look into Toast Master's on YouTube, that would help you also on articulating your words and sentences. Thank you taking the time to educate us on your trials.

I'm only commenting, because you expressed the desire, to become a better public speaker, which will come in time, you don't have fat to go, one thing I noticed, is that you say, "ummm" entirely too much 🙂 helpful hint, anytime you feel, like saying it, swallow or take a deep breath, it may help, you can also, have someone listen to you speak, and anytime you say, ummm, you have to pay that person, a dime, quarter or even a dollar (if you can afford it) , you can also, pinch yourself…otherwise, you video is very informative, I subscribed! Help up the good work, you appear very genuine, and that negates, ever "ummm" GOD bless you!
