Literally only a minute in and I've already been hit with the exact reason why I binge all the time. You were saying how the disordered idea of "I can't eat this" like. When I was growing up, I wasn't allowed to eat sweet things. Sweet yummy things were hidden away in my moms room because only she was allowed to eat it. Now that I'm an adult, and I can make my own food choices, I am indulging in all the "forbidden" foods I was never allowed to eat as a kid. Now I'll have an entire box of moon pies or oatmeal cream pies. No lie. And it's fucked up and I'm mad that she did that to me. She should have taught me to decline the foods that were put in front of me instead of just hiding it away and not giving us a chance to be taught to say no. Now being an adult I can't say no and I fucking hate myself and I hate that she did that to me. I've done everything possible and within my own finances to not want all this sugar. But I can't stop because there's so much sugary things that I've never had that everyone else was allowed to have. I felt like I missed out on so much. I hate it. I'm fucking miserable.

You are not qualified to give medical advice as a health coach. Bear that in mind as you dole out advice to your audience. They trust you and you are free to say what you want. But you also have an obligation to your audience as people listen to you.

I binge even on unprocessed whole foods. I am not addicted to a food, but to the act of eating, I can binge on anything. Recently, I am binging on bananas and oats, but I have binged on massive amounts of fruits, vegetables and nuts. Recently, I tried to include more starch, so I binge on whole wheat bread, potatoes and beans. Please, does anyone have any advice? I feel hopeless, almost suicidal. Many people heal on whole foods, but I guess I am a real failure afterall…

This is so true! I've been vegetarian since I was 10, but I ate a really unhealthy diet. Tons of ice cream, candy bars, fried foods, etc. I was and still can be, a serious binge eater. But just in the last year I have started to cut out dairy and processed food and it cut down my cravings by like 80%. Avoiding them completely is the best way to stay out of their grasp. As much fresh and natural cooking as possible. <3

Im struggling with binge eating /boredom eating/ night eating syndrome and I fast in the morning by eating Brunch at 1pm duet to i feel guilty of eating tons of fruits from 12am tip 2:am. i want to stop this cycle. I eat clean fruits and salads and black rice with raw veggies at night 8pm and save my 400 calories for my night eating. then will log it in fitness pal for the next day and will eat less that day due to i will have only few calories left to eat the whole day due to eating at mid morning:-(

My husband said to eat in the morning but I'm scared that this cycle will continue and i will gain weight right aye by exceeding my calories if i eat in the morning in my recovery. I feel so bloated in the morning that sometimes I take laxatives svn though I only binge on tons of fruits that 2am.:-(

Hi! I really love your videos and I really connect to this one. I often eat one sugary thing, then I'll continue to eat 10. I would greatly appreciate if you could help me with controlling my diet. And while I know you are a raw vegan, I am not necessarily looking to do that. Would you recommend going vegetarian? And what are your tips are going vegetarian while living at a home with a family who doesn't support that idea? I hope you can find time in your schedule to respond!

    Thank you!

Hey I've just discovered your channel. I'm into raw foods and currently studying at IIN (I'll graduate in november). What a pleasant surprise to know you followed the same education. When did you graduate? I would like to get in touch with you. Would you be willing to connect? :)

I really like your channel and have watched a few videos. However I sometimes feel your relationship with food is still bad even tho you are eating "healthy" its still an obsession. You can eat a good diet without it becoming all you are about. What we eat doesn't define who we are. If we take away the vegan thing what would you say makes you you. I think it is great that you want to inspire people but I also believe being to focused on what you eat can also become an addiction.

The problem I've encountered in my life is binge eating whole foods, too. Ex I'd make a meal, there would be way too much left over, and I would continue to eat it over the next hour until it was gone. Still whole foods, but it's overeating regardless.

I have a pretty unhealthy relationship with food right now, but I'm not prepared for going vegan/vegetarian/raw yet. Do you have any advice for someone like me?
