Easy Back Exercise Tip for a Better Back Contraction

Short on time? Check out my article on how to design an A+ college muscle building workout (saves time even if you’re not in college) http://www.vincedelmontefitness.com/blog/6116/how-to-design-an-a-college-muscle-building-workout/

In this video I’m going to give you one of my best tips on how to contract your back (lats) harder, so you can finally get them to GROW!

If your lats are small it’s most likely because you don’t have a solid mind-muscle connection. Or you’re doing things in your exercises that aren’t the primary function of the lats.

This is a super simple tip you can start applying to your back training today.

Calm down Haseebo. I was just curious about these types of growth as i hear them all the time. No need to bite my head off. Im sure a lot of other people don't know about this stuff.

WTF? Man I hate people who don't know shit about human anatomy/physiology, and try to over analyze Science, and the application of it, when it comes to training.

All there is to know…Myofibril growth theory essentially states that more fibers are produced when training, and Sarcoplasmic growth theory states that individual fibers grow bigger and stronger.

There is nothing that you can do to influence this, so I don't know why you even ask. Just train hard, eat right, and commit. THAT'S IT!

Vince, i'm trying to find out the science behind myofibrillar and sarcoplasmic muscle growth. I've looked on multiple websites to find they all talk about the types of training used. If you could explain these types of muscle growth it would be appreciated.

thanks for the tip… i actually realized this thing some 6 months back while training… but the think that was helping me was a little twist in the body when bringing weight back down
