Quick question. Instead of doing the cross multiplication, can you just divide the whole amount of the cooked ground turkey/beef and just divide that by the amount of servings to get a single number and that would count as the serving size for cooked? I hope that made sense :/
So how do you add it to your meal tracker? As the number cooked? Or the number raw?
what is fucking oz?
hey Nick, but what about your chicken stock that is lost in the cooking process. That is also protein that is part of the original chicken. So this cannot be accurate when the chicken reduces.
Hey bro where did you learn this ? Thanks !!!
i hope you can help me since you said we are welcome to ask questions i have an odd and confusing question … okay im meal preping for 3 days and one serving of the pasta i cooked is 2.0 oz so i measured that times 3 since i am cooking the same thing for 3 meals so i put 6 o.z of pasta and boiled it after it was done i was confused on how to evenly spread the pasta between my 3 meals since the weight of it did change i hope you can help me that would be great because i dont have anybody else to help me
lets say i measured 4oz of chicken raw and then cooked it. I would put it into fitness pal as 4oz raw even though i ate it cooked. is that inaccurate?
Literally, this was so helpful figuring out raw vs cooked!
Is that necessary though? If you have 100g of uncooked meat which is 30g of protein, once you cook the whole amount it will decrease in weight. But you'll still have the same nutritional value right? Only difference is the weight. Thus, if 100g uncooked meat became 80g cooked, you'd still have the same number of calories and macros. Or am I missing the point?
i was looking at the thumbnail and i swear i thought the turkey was popcorn
man I tried to explain it onetime to my someone and i fail big times lol but you did explain it pretty clear
I didn't know you were rain man!. Jk awesome vid as always
Seems like the logical way to do it but I'm sure this'll help a lot of people!
Wouldn't some of the fat decrease after cooking?
Strong tips mann. I always just weighed my stuff cooked, but this is an awesome way to track it.
This will really help me in the future if i compete. Thanks man !
Why do people diet for photo shoots? hello, Photoshop lol.
:D
Thank you math class
This must be really helpful for people who can't do simple math on their own!
haha jk good video, I especially liked that you don't preach this way of macro counting, but only use it during contest prep. I think people can get to obsessive about it.
