I did have improvement in facial palsy and some improvement in my joint pain. The fatigue was much better while on the IV. Be careful for GI issues, such as gallstones and Cdif. I am so sorry that you are experiencing the neurologic effects of Lyme, in my opinion that is the worst. I was so thankful to be put o the PICC within 2 days of being diagnosed as neurologic Lyme by my PCP who is amazing and is my LLMD. Lyme is very common in south eastern PA so my PCP was very literate, I got lucky.
Hi! This is no joke, so please don't ignore my message. I have had Lyme Disease for 5 years. I just got diagnosed August 2012. We are looking for a good Doctor in NC. But I wanted to know, if you have had any noticeable improvements from the antibiotic treatment, so far? My life is unbearable. Physically my body is healthy but my mind, is destroyed (Neuroboreollosis)
So please let me know. I think I start antibiotics in January if we get lucky and find an LLMD near by.
