Quit Using tobacco Now With Hypnosis

Stop Using tobacco Self Hypnosis online video from Dan Jones (http://www.alt-options.org)

This procedure is interactive. Like most excellent hypnotherapy the hypnotherapist sows the seeds but the listener does all the function and will make all of the adjustments.

The Mp3 variation of this observe is readily available on iTunes and a script to a very similar procedure is in the book ‘Advanced Ericksonian Hypnotherapy Scripts’

This is an excellent hypnosis program….like anything, you have to continue to use these sessions until your brain is completely retrained…it's not easy but don't give up.

I'm gonna be 54 years old next month and I've smoked since I was 8 years old. I'm so desperate to quit smoking I'd try anything. I've quit once before for 9 months, but filed for a divorce and picked it back up. I've payed for patches, pills & even Accupuncture, and nothing has helped. I'm going to give this a try and will update if it works for me. I am determined, so I hope that helps!! I lost my Grandma and my Father to lung Cancer, please work for me I pray to God!!

I feel like this video is an old friend. It's been almost 5 years since i listened. It only took once for me. I think the fact i saved it off and waited until a morning when i was particularly fed up with it might have helped. That my mind was open at the time helped.I haven't had a puff since that day, not one. Just visiting today to share it with a friend.

I started smoking in 1964, just after the surgeon general made 18 the legal age for buying cigs.  I was not a smoker but would be 18 in 2 weeks.  I said "no one is going to tell me I can't smoke," so I went and bought a carton of cigarettes.
    That was 50 years ago.
I have tried to quit many times, many ways.  The longest I stayed quit was 4 months.
Tonight, I will listen to ths for the first time.  Will post updates.

Dan, Michael here from Boston just writing to thank you once again as I have now reached 184 days smoke free. I typically just listen once per month over these last few months after listening at least 2-3 times per week the first three months to allow the programming to set in. It's just amazing and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help in setting me free… Mahalo Nui Loa! :)

This was awesome! I have tried many ways and numerous attempts to quit smoking. I listened to this and half way thru it (as i went from 1-4 left to right) I found myself wanting to vomit! The thought of smelling cigarette smoke makes me want to throw up!

Hypnosis being used in conjunction with CBT and Interpersonal approaches can most likely help, hypnosis itself isn't therapy, it is just the process of focusing attention on one thing to help it work better. You can't forget the past or erase memories with hypnosis (not in most people) but can remove emotion from memories (using processes like on my 'Love Removal Process' track) so that memories don't trigger negative emotions. Hypnosis itself isn't dangerous, but untrained people can be.

    Hello sir,
Important question here. I suffer from depression. I smoke too much. I have suicidal thoughts. Can hypnosis help me? Can hypnosis help me forget the past? Can it erase memories? Can hypnosis make me a happy human being again? Is it dangerous?

Again this may be something where you take time to think of what for you are the positives of quitting and negatives of not quitting, as long as you know what they are that is the important thing, so if I said 'you know that worst case of not quitting' you would think of something. Most things have a visual representation, but it doesn't have to, you just have to know what these things are for you so that when I refer to them you know what I am referring to.

The accent may just lead to needing to listen to the track a few times to get the idea of what I am saying so that you can follow it easier when you listen to it therapeutically. As with any self hypnosis track people often listen to the track daily until the changes have set in, so the first few times you listen you may just choose to listen to get used to the accent and process.

It depends what you mean by wandering, if, as you describe, it is having an itch, or being uncomfortable in the seat, or similar experiences then it is best to just scratch it or shift your position, it shouldn't make any difference to the experience, what would distract from the experience would be trying to ignore the itch or uncomfortableness, this would focus your attention more on it, it is no different to everyday experience if you sit there with an itch and try to ignore it, it gets worse

How does one prevent their mind from wandering? I had an itch on my face while listening to this, I couldn't ignore it. I sometimes feel the need to adjust myself in my seat. These are some examples, of things that interfere with my concentration.

One other thing, I'm American, and the accent is difficult for me to understand, as I'm sure mine would be for you, but a couple of times I was distracted thinking "what did he say?"

What affect does this have on the success of the session?
