Quick question. Instead of doing the cross multiplication, can you just divide the whole amount of the cooked ground turkey/beef and just divide that by the amount of servings to get a single number and that would count as the serving size for cooked? I hope that made sense :/

hey Nick, but what about your chicken stock that is lost in the cooking process. That is also protein that is part of the original chicken. So this cannot be accurate when the chicken reduces.

lets say i measured 4oz of chicken raw and then cooked it. I would put it into fitness pal as 4oz raw even though i ate it cooked. is that inaccurate?

Is that necessary though? If you have 100g of uncooked meat which is 30g of protein, once you cook the whole amount it will decrease in weight. But you'll still have the same nutritional value right? Only difference is the weight. Thus, if 100g uncooked meat became 80g cooked, you'd still have the same number of calories and macros. Or am I missing the point?

This must be really helpful for people who can't do simple math on their own!
haha jk good video, I especially liked that you don't preach this way of macro counting, but only use it during contest prep. I think people can get to obsessive about it.
