Aaaactually…. *Firewire 800 was released commercially by Apple in 2003. *eSata is advertised at SATA (not SATA300) speeds; 1.5Gbps; real world transfer rates max out around 120MB/s (just under 1Gbps) Other than that, keep up the good work, fellas. Enjoy reading your site.
Please, please let it carry enough power to drive external disks, printers, scanner, external speakers, etc. can we get rid of the power cables and bricks?
The faster the better, hopefully it will be downward/backward compatible with existing peripherals.
