Honestly, if you're struggling with acne or skin issues. Then you know the biggest struggle is having to make so many changes in your lifestyle that will let your skin be at it's healthiest/best, because it's overwhelming to do so much at once.

Which is why I made the Skin Care Challenge tag, and guess what? You're tagged 🙂 You only have to commit to making ONE change or fulfilling one goal you set for each week that will bring you closer towards healthier, clearer skin. That way you can achieve the skin you want, make the changes you need to, but without being so overwhelmed.

Plus it helps when you feel a sense of accountability :)

Those of you using this please do more research before doing so, tea tree oil can actually make bacteria resistant to it and to antibiotics. There are several medical studies out there. "Researchers concluded that while tea tree oil is indeed an effective antibacterial agent, low-level, sustained application "may contribute to the development of antibiotic resistance in human pathogens" – a significant and growing medical concern." http://www.ewg.org/enviroblog/2011/11/tea-tree-and-lavender-oils-what-we-dont-know

I just made this! I had a little larger bottle so I added a little more tea tree oil. Turns out I had two bottles! One wasn't even opened and the other was almost full! I put a little tea tree oil on a napkin and put it on a zit that has been bothering me and after about a minute I could feel it fighting it. I always knew the oil was good for the skin, but I never really knew how to use it. Thank you so much Tati for doing this video! Are there any other ways I can use tea tree oil for maybe my hair?

Hey Tati. Is this supposed to make you purge at first? I've been trying this the last few days and I think it has made my acne worse! :/ I'm just wondering if that's normal at first?

I've been using tea tree on my skin for years. Just directly on to my skin…a couple of drops on a clean finger that I dab once over each spot/new blemish…adding it to water would make it waaaaay too dilute…

I basically do the same thing but I use 2/3 nonalcoholic witch hazel, 1/3 apple cider vinegar, and tea tree oil. It smells disgusting at first but the smell fades in a few minutes 🙂

Thanks, Julie! I really appreciate the info! I'm definitely going to try this now. I have started using it for other things but am looking forward to using it for my face as well =)

Tea tree oil is a light oil, plus it has antibacterial powers thus it won't clog your pores ! It is recommended to reduce blemishes and spots (for example the body shop & lush have tea tree oil based products to fight acne) so I don't think you should worry 🙂

I must say tha t I was skeptical of liking this because I don't like pure tea tree oil smell. However, I did this a week ago, and now I find myself wanting to spritz my face all the time because its a "clean" smell.
