Thank you, EWG & Nneka Leiba. Years ago, I was amazed to learn that skin consumes as much if not more than the mouth/digestive system does by eating and drinking. I was already an avid label-reader when shopping for food and cleansers toward healthy and non-toxic life. Yet, I was shocked and outraged when I discovered toxins on personal care items. I appreciate EWG as an amazing, comprehensive resource for the many facets of health and as a consumer advocate.

I think about this all the time… particularly deodorant, soaps and cologne / perfume. Can you imagine the chemicals being absorbed into our bodies every day!!!

where is the research to support this info? I would like to read more especially since polyethyelene glycol is commonly used medicinally even in children (eg. Miralax)…and I would like to know if this is the same product ingredient and what the risks are… anyone with rigorous evidence-based resources, pls post-thanks!
