    it is a biological in nature………….. i wish it was as easy as using positive affirmations to rid myself of this terrible disorder…..i would have been cured thirty years ago when i first read a tony robbins book…..the only answers is talk therapy and a a proper anti depressant…………..

    I just finished watch several videos of Tony Robbins (I am sure you've seen them) where he took a young lady who was depressed & showed her and us how she could change her state. Then he went on to explain how depression can be a escape method from our reality, it can also be viewed as self serving. WOW! That was a wake up call for me! It hit me right between the eyes! I went to google and search depression is self serving Tony Robins and found you. LOVING everything I am finding at your website. Thank you SO SO much for not just saving yourself and then keeping the info to yourself. I am grateful your willing to share this info (and all the other info) you have learned with others. I am a midlife woman (hence the user name lol) who at age 52 is trying to build a new career, go to school, and escape a marriage with a narcs., who is also mental ill. Thank you for helping me to feel like I can do all of this by the first step of overcoming the depression, which has me stalled in all my other plans for over 2 yrs.     That's exactly it! Tough nut to crack, the person has to be willing and have some understanding 🙂 These days people think we've not been on the moon, and there is nothing you can do or say that will change their mind/belief…..they are kinda "stuck"…..

I understand you may disagree, but don't let your limiting beliefs about depression stop others from benefiting from this video & believing that they can change and have a better life. My videos are about uplifting people, not bringing them down. Good luck with things, but as long as you continue to believe you can't change then you never will. :(

    Yep, that's it People's belief is the problem, particularly depressed people, they probably believe it won't work so it won't. Belief is the most difficult thing to change in a person, but it's the key thing, to be able to change beliefs – quite a catch 22 ! Thanks for your video !

    Hi missmerbella, not sure what happened to your original comment, but wanted to reply to you. First and foremost, this is coming from someone that has suffered from depression. Second, I have a blog post that goes along with this video that talks about the mindset you need to have before using this. Third, this DOES WORK, it's your limiting belief and story about "depression is very serious and can't be cured this easily" that is getting in your way. Try it for 30 days and report back. :-)

    Hey Haniff, yes, it's a very good point. I mentioned in the blog post that you first and foremost need to change your mindset about depression before you can look at using techniques like this. If you don't believe you can change and that this depression is who you are, then you won't bother even attempting to use a technique like this.

    Missmerbella I believe your comments are off mark with all due respect. I believe Stefan takes depression very seriously and so do I. To think that only psychiatrists or psychologists can handle depression is ludicrous. I am blessed for those like Stefan, Tony Robbins, and the Marianne Williamsons of the world to not serve others, but to make a difference in people's lives. I respect the work of a licensed therapist, but half of them are depressed themselves. Also depression has been given

    This is s well known NLP technique, which Antony Robbins also teaches. THIS WORKS. But naturally might be easier in a group or with a teacher. I would say most people DO NOT have the ability to apply this to themselves consistently. It's about changing your belief and self image with constant re-enforcement. Maxwell Maltz and Michael Brown – The Presence Process explain similar more self hypnosis / meditation methods. Ultimately only you can stop depression.

    Would only a licensed psychiatrist have a right to claim they could make anyone overcome depression then? Too much emphasis nowadays is put on a piece of paper gained from a university. From first hand experience, a great deal of so called professionals are anything but.
