There is no fucking way to avoid depression. You don't see it coming. It runs at you, and slaps you in the face. You can take pills that make the chemicals in your brain better, so you have less depression.

    Sincerely,
A man with severe depression, and anxiety.

The Holy Quran has incredible unbelievable remedies for curing depression. As follows: 1st & most essential human skill is don’t make yourself susceptible & subservient to people & society (bcs mankind is the most ungrateful of all of creation – we forget good things) because of you do that you’ll be severely mentally damaged (& eventually physically) as you are laying yourself on a charcoal pit of bad behaviour of people. Its peoples’ bad behaviour that largely causes depression/hurt.Our main human purpose is to work be productive & professional economically, biologically, socially, historically everywhere undoubtedly, there is no point in disputing that, you’l lose the argument if you say ‘work & professionalism’ isn’t us humans’ main goal. In professionalism emotions mean nothing (relational squabbles are meaningless, nobody at work gives you the time of the day if you take your social problems there as productivity/professionalism are opposites of emotion. The phrase ‘Don’t mix business with pleasure’ is absolutely correct. Emotions don’t matter/count there. Your purpose is to 1: Think of Our Creator. 2: Work professionally productively without hassles of emotional tribulations & 3: Then mellow with your own family/culture & enjoy yourselves. This is the best remedy for depression. There are 3 things from which we humans get reward 1.Remembering our Creator 2. Proressional work 3.Family/own culture. There is 1 thing you’ll never get returns from; that is wallowing & wasting your time in Big Brother style socialising day in day out! Never wallow in trivial relational matters in the style of Big Brother episodes.Very nourishing medical  preventions: scalp massage your hair with palm-size full of water & natural hair oil 3x/week. Works wonders for your mind. Hydrate yourself 8x/day. Drink folic acid malt drinks for extra strength. Chew Betel Leaf (by itself): has 11 health benefits as it’s a natural stimulant/aphrodisiac it is found to cure depression overtime in all countries that practice it as culture. Colour therapy: bright colours such as green, shades of green & yellow help combat depression whereas dark colours exacerbate mental illness as dark colours block out Vitamin D. Good Luck………………

Excellent video…I have been suffering from a critical depression, I have done anything to prevent depression, I am still trying to combat those negative emotions. My next step is taking dancing classes. I recently broke up and this person was my only family. Loneliness makes things harder.

isn't being not engrossed in thngs is what we should seek?
something like simultaneously watching tv and being aware of surroundings, not just the contents inside of the tv frame.
alonge the lines of "not leaving the center of your being"
    semantics, i know.

also, when i was in such states, the time flowed slowly, not faster.
the more you are attentive to the moment, the slower it seems to go by.

I totally agree that depression is not a disease in itself! For me, the source of depression is connected to our childhood programming that we received from an early age. I learned how childhood affects how we feel and react to the world as adults. My name is Omar and I was a depression sufferer until I overcame it using natural methods. I have made YT self help videos with the tips I used to overcome depression. Visit my channel DepressionHero on how I did it.

Yeah – life has become more and more complicated – and we're the ones doing the complicating! Need to get back to the basics of just living for today – that's what we would have been doing in the Middle Ages – because today might have been all we would have had!

If you're struggling with stress or depression and finding meditation 'weird' I would suggest that you find someone close by who can give you some personal guidance – meditation doesn't suit everybody and you have to know what you're doing, why you're doing it and what the benefits should be. Hope that helps

    @KaT3xB
All the problems associated with stress – from mad itches to eczema – from a pain in the ass to a pain in the chest (real heart attack) all have their origins in our mind's obsession with negative thought – you'll never get rid of the useless thought, but you can decide to ignore it by paying attention to what's really happening now – not what you think is happening

  14. Willie Horton

You're not different – lots of kids suffer from stress! I'm going to produce another video with more specific ideas on how to "calm down" – and post it on YouTube tomorrow

In fact, if there is anything about you or your life that you want to change or improve, if you change your state of mind first, everything else will follow – and meditation (and there are all kinds of ways of doing it – even five minues slotted here or there into a busy day) is one of the most powerful ways of developing a clear, present and focused state of mind

    Morning "liveituptoday333"
I love you're name – it sums up everything we need to know about getting the most – or even anything out of life – today's the day – now's the time – and there's no time like the present. Keep up the meditation – sure, there'll be days when it won't tune you in as much as other days – but meditation gets you in touch with the real you – and the life you can really have
