    Wishing you and your family Happy Holidays. This is great advice Lee for anyone. I'm a Certified Personal Trainer with the ISSA and I really liked the idea of eating your morning meal so as not to pig out latter at the main meal. I admit I'm guilty of always missing the morning meal so I can really pig out latter in the day but this year I'll take your advice and "Eat before Eating" I take all your training and nutritional tips and advice to heart and I share them with others. You have been a big influence in my life and I thank you for all you do. Take care and have a blessed Holiday Season.

    Happy Holidays Lee! I always appreciate your commonsense approach towards diet exercise and rest and sleep. I'll be 62 in a couple of months and a few weeks ago i believe was a gout attack .Never had one but my right big toe was painful and the joint on the side of the toe was painful. Since i rely on walking to get to the bus then to the job the gym and grocery shop. I average about 2 miles each day. I probably need to knock off 25lbs which is a little more than 10% of my bodyweight..I just started doing cardio again the lifecycle about 15 minutes 3x a week plus 45-60 minutes of light drop the weight set on machines 12-15 reps .My wrists and finger areas have psoriatic arthritis. So its borderline painful to do thats why I'm trying lighter and not go to failure which would cause more harm than good. I tried grips and hooks but don't help .Wrist supports I'm looking into now.Losing fat weight and keeping it off is the main goal.The hard part is limiting my calories under 2500 which i have a problem with .I tried eliminating 200 calories a day but by the end i work swing shift and a graveyard always have a few hundred calories two hours before i sleep. Any suggestions Lee you recommend are greatly appreciated.

    Great Advice, it's 2-3 days max of enjoying time with your family which obviously means a bit more eating than normal. However, it's 2-3 days out of an entire year. It's not going to make a huge difference unless you decide not to continue with your fitness program. I think it's important to cut yourself some slack and not feel like you can't enjoy yourself when you're with family.
