   If anyone can't afford proper dental cleaning or wants to avoid plaque and tartar, swish with PLAX Pre Rinse for several minutes before brushing 2x a day…it works! It will soften the tartar and you can brush it away day by day. Get a watepik to clean beneath the gumline. It took me a week and all my build up was gone, I did chip a bit of it away as it softened up over a few days. For heavy build up, give it more time. I swear by it. I now use it everyday and it keeps my teeth clean. No more chipping away with dental tools.

   After brushing, swish with Listerine and rinse lightly with water. Listerine kills bacteria that causes plaque and cavities, but you need to rinse it out because its very acidic.

   i got my teeth scaled twice per year…sometimes 3 times…

   My dentist asked me a few years ago if I would like to volunteer to get my teeth cleaned for free at the local college. His wife is the head of the program. I get mine done for practically nothing every semester but unfortunately, they train them to do it the old way because they have to know it. no matter how often I floss, It seems like there is always a little scraping. I would love to have them do it this way.

   why is the root so exposed? was this a former case of advanced periodontitis with bone loss?
