Is Jamie orange for Halloween? [Looks like a pumpkin]. Elisa, Will you please make your face orange too? If you want the best light for making videos buy a halogen work light (at Menards or Home Depot); Halogen work lights are cheap and produce a nice bright-white light for filming. I use 500 watt halogen work lights and made my own dimmer extension cord so I can dim the light; Many times 500 watts is too bright. I'd recommend 300 watt bulbs instead. All disease is simply another form of suffering and pain. There are so many, many different maladies with which the body may be afflicted, that it is hard to imagine it can all be explained away by saying we are here to learn something. Not only that, it is purported that we come here voluntarily to learn the same lessons over and over again. I just cannot make any logical sense of that. It is like deliberately whacking your hand with a hammer just to see how you cope. Why would anyone do that? So I'm afraid I can't subscribe to the "in order to learn a lesson" argument at all.
If I was to venture a guess, I'd say that whatever or whoever dictates the rules of life on this planet isn't a loving entity and is probably quite sadistic. If there is such a thing as a God, it is either powerless or disinclined to do anything about it – so on it goes. It is still a big mystery. It is even possible that if anyone from the other side did manage to communicate "wisdom" to those here, he/she also doesn't know the truth behind why we are really here.
When I see some of the horrendous things that people have to endure on this planet – the degree of pain they have to go through both psychological and physical, it makes a nonsense out of the idea that we are here to learn lessons or that there is some kind of contract that we agreed to and now can't back away from. It just does not make any logical sense at all so I myself reject that idea out of hand.
