Maybe you could put in a sound system right in front of the counter to add some nice music while students study. I like the windows NOT being in the middle, you should definitely add a sign. The curtains is a nice touch. I love how much time and effort you put in to make everything so detailed, I'm the exact same way, I'm glad someone understands! LOL! And yes, this was SO soothing! Keep up the great work, Jessa. I'm glad you're still playing the Sims 2.

I actually kind of liked the extra windows..I absolutely love the curtains..I would probably change the chairs downstairs, the bathroom wallpaper, and add in a few plants and possibly a small magazine rack if you had enough room.
I would leave it open, I think an object there might get in the way of routing.
I agree a sign outside would work better than all those windows.
